Entrepreneurship Clubs in High Schools
About Us
The High School Entrepreneurship Clubs Project was launched in 2011 by Samed Ağırbaş with the aim of introducing high school students across Türkiye to the culture of entrepreneurship at an early age, developing their innovative thinking skills, and preparing them for the dynamics of the business world. This comprehensive project contributes to young people discovering and developing their potential by encouraging the establishment of entrepreneurship clubs at the high school level in all 81 provinces of Türkiye.
This project is not merely an educational initiative; it is also a transformative program that boosts young people’s self-confidence and guides them toward becoming problem-solving, idea-generating, and value-creating individuals. The content offered to students is not limited to theoretical knowledge, but is also supported by practical workshops, mentoring programs, field trips, entrepreneurship camps, and competitions. This gives students the opportunity to turn their ideas into concrete projects.
The Entrepreneurship Club in high schools provides a multidimensional interaction space by bringing young people together not only with the private sector but also with non-governmental organizations (NGOs), local governments, public institutions, and universities. This interaction allows students to become acquainted not only with the business world but also with the motivation to create social benefit. Club activities are conducted in an integrated manner with important contemporary themes such as social entrepreneurship, environmental awareness, digital transformation, sustainable development, and circular economy.
To date, over two million high school students have been introduced to entrepreneurship through this project, gaining experience in developing their own projects, making presentations, working in teams, and meeting with investors. In this regard, the Entrepreneurship Clubs in High Schools Project aims not only at individual success but also at social development.
The primary goal of this project is to reduce young people’s anxieties about the future, connect them with role models who can guide them, and nurture productive, courageous, and innovative individuals. Strengthening Türkiye’s entrepreneurship ecosystem requires investing in young people, who are the most dynamic part of this ecosystem.
The High School Entrepreneurs Club is an inspirational movement that acts on this vision and aims to nurture future leaders.
